Peer tutors are Anoka-Ramsey students who excel in their course work and possess skills and qualities that make them valuable tutors. In addition, peer tutors have been recommended by Anoka-Ramsey faculty as demonstrating superior subject knowledge.
Your success in a recent class may be valuable to students who will take that same class in the future. If you feel like you would enjoy tutoring your peers in a subject where you've been particularly successful, please follow the recommendations for becoming a peer tutor.
How to Become a Peer Tutor
- One way to become a peer tutor is to receive a recommendation from an instructor. You may speak with an instructor in the field of study that you would like to tutor.
- You may also contact any of our tutoring centers to learn more about peer tutoring.
- If you are recommended by a professor to become a peer tutor, all tutors must complete the necessary peer tutor training and the required face-to-face training sessions on your campus.
