TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is here to support you from the moment you start at Anoka‑Ramsey through graduation. We’re dedicated to creating an environment where low‑income students, first‑generation students and students with disabilities can thrive. Thanks to federal grant funding, all of these services are completely free.

What you get as a TRIO SSS Participant

If you’re a new or current college student attending Anoka-Ramsey, check to see if you meet the criteria to be selected as a Student Support Services program participant. Free benefits include:

1. Proactive individual academic advising
2. Course planning and registration assistance
3. Career guidance and choosing a major
4. Graduation and transfer planning (visits to four-year universities)
5. Financial aid and scholarship application assistance
6. Financial literacy education
7. Study skills
8. Social & cultural activities
9. Referral to campus and community resources
