Graduation/Commencement

Graduation/Commencement

Congratulations on getting close to completing your Academic Goals! You deserve to be proud of this academic achievement.

In order to graduate and celebrate your hard work through commencement you will need to submit a Graduation Application and declare your participation in the commencement ceremony. Please see below regarding the required process.

  • In order to graduate, you must submit an online Graduation Application for each degree you plan to complete.

Deadlines to submit your Graduation Application:

    • Fall Semester: July 1
    • Spring Semester: November 1
    • Summer Semester: April 1

To ensure all necessary requirements are met and to avoid delays, we strongly suggest you follow the Graduation Application deadlines. Early submissions guarantees a graduation review prior to the start of the following semester. Late submissions will be accepted but are not guaranteed to be processed for that term.

After you apply, your records will be reviewed and a graduation status email will be sent to the email on file.

All students must apply for graduation regardless of the decision to participate in commencement. Submitting an application initiates the official review of your degree requirements, posting your degree on your transcript and ordering your diploma/certificate.

  • Commencement is the ceremony that celebrates the completion of your hard work and achievements.

All associate degree students who have completed their degree requirements in the fall semester and students who plan to complete their degree requirements in the spring or summer semester are eligible to participate in the annual Spring Commencement Ceremony.
