Courtyard Commons SC170
Invite friends to a game of billiards or chess between classes. Grab something to eat at the Coffee Shop and Grille. Located on the lower level.
Riverside Lounge SC100
A comfortable space in the Student Center with a view of the Mississippi River and a quiet space to work. Vending machines and ample seating options are available. Located on the lower level.
Mosaic Cultural Center SC178
An educational hub on the Coon Rapids Campus designed to serve as a social network
to bring together the college’s diverse group of students to share their personal
cultures and stories. The Mosaic Cultural Center is a place to study, relax, and meet
new people of different cultural backgrounds. Located on the lower level.
Outdoor Spaces
Courtyard Plaza
Enjoy some fresh air with friends or a peaceful place to work on schoolwork. Enter the courtyard through the doors in Courtyard Commons, Library, Technology or
Humanities building.
Riverside Plaza
Seating is available. Student activities, picnics, and concerts take place throughout
the school year. A scenic plaza located next to the Mississippi River on the lower level of the Student Center.
Private Spaces
Lactation Room SC105B
The lactation room is used for lactation purposes. This room is open to students and
staff to use.
Reflection Room SC131
Used as a meditation and prayer space for all students and staff.
Cambridge Campus
Indoor Spaces
Upper Level Student Lounge
Enjoy a game of ping pong or a board game checked out from the library. The Office
for Student Activities, Student Senate, student clubs, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Campus
Eye are all located here. Take advantage of the Student Life Conference Room in E202
for a quiet space to study. Or, relax on the giant bean bags.
Lower Level Student Lounge and Café
Perfect for a break, lunchtime relaxation or studying. Participate in student activities
and grab a bit to eat or enjoy a coffee. You will find E103: a reservable space to
study by yourself or with a group.
North and South Side Study Lounges
North Side Study Lounge is a quiet study space near the Financial Aid Office.
South Side Study Lounge is located outside of G201 and G202 to study and relax.
South Side Study Lounge is located outside of G201 and G202 to study and relax.
Outdoor Spaces
East Patio
A scenic patio to have lunch, study, read or enjoy the outdoors. Take a nature walk
on the trail starting at the east patio that takes you down to the Rum River.
West Side Patio and Amphitheater
Sit outdoors and relax. Listen to live music in the amphitheater.
Private Spaces
Lactation and Reflection Room E203D
The lactation room is used for lactation purposes in addition to a meditation and prayer space. This room is open to students and staff to use.
Eat on Campus
Coon Rapids and Cambridge Campuses offer cafes to choose from for your dining needs while on campus.
