Bachelor's degree from Augsburg University

Program Information

The Auggie Plan is designed for students just starting their college career. Simply complete your associate’s degree at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and transition to Augsburg University to complete your bachelor’s degree in any major. The transfer plan supports Anoka-Ramsey students to finish a bachelor's degree efficiently in four years with financial support. (This is an agreement with Augsburg University and not a Minnesota State Transfer Pathway.)

The Auggie Plan maps out all the coursework you need at both institutions to make sure all your courses transfer. If the plan is followed, it guarantees that your 60 credits from Anoka-Ramsey will satisfy all first- and second-year general education requirements at Augsburg University. The Auggie Plan also grants you access to both Anoka-Ramsey and Augsburg University advisors during all four years for extra support and guidance. The course selections can be adjusted to accommodate any major interest when working with the Augsburg advisor.

  • Simply complete your associate’s degree at Anoka-Ramsey Community College within two years and transition to Augsburg University to complete your bachelor’s degree. Through the Auggie Plan, if you complete 60 credits at Anoka-Ramsey with a 2.75 GPA* or better, you are guaranteed admission to Augsburg University. You may also be eligible for merit scholarships based on your previous college course work. PELL grant eligible students may qualify for the 2 + 2 scholarship. Please contact Augsburg University for more details regarding scholarships.

*2.5-2.74 GPA still considered, but admission is not guaranteed.
