    One of the best ways to get a feel for the Anoka-Ramsey  experience is to visit the campus.

    Tours are offered on both campuses and give you a chance to see what the campus looks and feels like as well as you have the opportunity to visit with an admissions advisor.

    How do I get help from an advisor?

    Academic advisors can help you with questions about choosing classes, picking a major, transferring and many other academic issues.  You can visit the Advising Center (located behind the Information Desk on both campuses) any time during our Quick Stop hours for quick questions or call the Information Desk at 763-433-1230 to schedule an appointment.

    Anoka-Ramsey offers seven intercollegiate sports teams, including:

    Yes!  An internship is pre-professional work experience that offers students the opportunity to explore various career fields and interest areas.  Internships are designed to give students a realistic introduction to a chosen career field and work environment.     Anoka-Ramsey offers a wide variety of student clubs and activities.  A few examples include the Astronomy Club, the Art Club, the Engineering Club and the Swing Dancing Club.  You can find more information in Campus Life.

    Are there computers available for student use on campus?

    Yes! Anoka-Ramsey has several computer labs available for student use.  There are also computers available to students for academic purposes in the Academic Support Center and the Math Skills & Advising Center.  Please visit the Technology Services for more information.

    What services are available for students with disabilities?

    Answer

    The Office of Disability Services at Anoka-Ramsey provides a variety of academic support services for students with documented disabilities in accordance with federal legislation. Services include, but are not limited to, accommodation assistance, educational planning, early registration, assistive technology, interpreters, advocacy, referral, and support. These services are designed to assist such individuals to participate fully and successfully in Anoka-Ramsey programs.

    Do I need to do orientation before registering for classes?

    How do I request transcripts?

    Answer

    For information on how to request that your transcripts be sent to other schools, or how to submit your transcripts from other schools to Anoka-Ramsey, please visit the Transcript Request page.

    What tutoring services are available?

    The Academic Support Centers on both campuses offer free tutoring for almost all subjects taught at Anoka-Ramsey.
