Procedure 4K.1/11 Distinguished Retiree Award

 

Eligibility

A faculty member must have:
1. fully retired.
2. provided a minimum of 10 years of service to Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
3. completed a minimum of 25 years of service to his or her profession.

Administrators must have:
1. fully retired.
2. provided a minimum of 10 years of service to Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
3. completed a minimum of 25 years of service to their profession.

A staff member must have:
1. fully retired.
2. provided a minimum of 10 years of service to Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
3. completed a minimum of 25 years of service to his or her profession.

Procedures

• All eligible retired college employees become Distinguished Retirees upon full retirement from the college.
• The Human Resources Office shall identify all eligible faculty, administrators or staff each year and forward their names to the Office of the President.
• The Human Resources Office shall maintain the list of current Distinguished Retirees.

Privileges

• Receipt of special campus publications, announcements, and event invitations, as determined by the President 
• Invitations to participate in public ceremonies, commencement, processions, theater productions, athletic events, and convocations
• Participation in appropriate campus seminars, colloquia, lectures
• Use of Anoka-Ramsey Community College recreational/social facilities in accordance with college policy 
• Library privileges 
• Permanent I.D. card with designation of Distinguished Retiree
