College hosts Kristin Brennan, soil scientist presenting Unlocking the Secrets to Soil Health, Feb. 12

For its 32nd Annual Science Night, Anoka-Ramsey Community College is pleased to welcome Soil Scientist Kristin Brennan who will present Unlocking the Secrets to Soil Health, Tuesday, Feb. 12, 7 to 8 pm, at the Cambridge Campus.

Brennen holds a degree in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. For the past 15 years, she has worked as a soil scientist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Soil . For the past three years she has been the Assistant State Soil Scientist and Soil Health Specialist for Minnesota NRCS. Brennen is especially passionate about soil education and outreach, and her main focus is working with agency personnel, partners and Minnesota producers to promote and implement soil health practices on agricultural lands.
