Support scholarships for students: A Night with the Stars scholarship fundraiser Feb. 18

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation is hosting an evening of good food, music, theater, and “rising stars”: A Night with the Stars Scholarship Fundraiser, Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, 5:30 to 10 pm, Coon Rapids Campus, Legacy Room. Tickets are $60 per person and include food, drink and the theater production of Guys & Dolls.

A Night with the Stars is a new scholarship fundraising event hosted by the Anoka–Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Foundation to showcase some of the college’s rising stars and to raise money for student scholarships.

As the demand for scholarships continues to grow, community help is needed. Last year alone, more than $130,000 in scholarships were awarded to 130 deserving community students at the Coon Rapids Campus.

Please join us for an evening of good food, music, theater, and the opportunity to hear the stories of students who have benefited from the generosity of scholarship support.

Tickets: $60 per person includes food, music and a ticket to the theater production of Guys & Dolls

Socialize with friends, neighbors and business contacts, new and old, while enjoying fine cuisine, a cash bar and live music by the college’s Jazz Ensemble. Throughout the evening, hear testimonials from scholarship recipients, as well as a message from college President Kent Hanson.

The fun continues with a walk down the hall of “Stars” to the production of Guys and Dolls performance by the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Theater and Music Departments.
