Join us! Jerrid Sebesta, former KARE 11 weatherman, speaks on “Livin’ the Dream”

September 06, 2016

Jerrid Sebesta, former KARE 11 weatherman, will speak to Anoka-Ramsey Community College students about “Livin’ the Dream,” Wednesday, Sept. 28, noon to 1 pm.

Students may ask the question: What does a former weatherman know about “Livin’ the Dream?” His goal is to help others achieve their life goals and dreams through climbing out of debt and gaining financial freedom.

Jerrid Sebesta left his successful career as a KARE 11 weatherman to pursue his own dream. He was tired of constantly missing birthday parties and barbeques due to assignments. He yearned to watch his children grow up and be present for the big moments in their lives. In order to leave his life’s work, he needed a smart financial plan. He took notes from financial author, Dave Ramsey, and eliminated his debt, which was mostly student loans, within three months. He now works as a life coach for Taatjes Financial Group and travels the region speaking to companies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions and other professional associations.

“I believe the handling or mishandling or your money will directly affect your ability to live and chase your dream,” Sebesta said on his website.

Sebesta realized that to truly live his dream he needed to be financially secure. What he speaks about will push students to pinpoint their dreams, take steps in order to enter financial freedom, and then pursue life goals worry-free. For more information about Jerrid Sebesta, his journey and how he is living his dream, visit http://jerridsebesta.com
