The Anoka-Ramsey Community College English faculty is out and about this September.

Check out two upcoming events:

Elizabeth Tannen curating a new reading series at Five Watt Coffee called 555 Reads: Five Writers, Five Minutes, Five Watts, Tuesday, Sept. 15, 8 pm. Tannen also has poems forthcoming this fall in Southern Humanities Review, THIS Magazine, Extract(s), and Compose as well as a book review in Rain Taxi.  

Kathryn Kysar will appear with jazz saxophonist Sean Egan for the National Beat Poetry Festival event at Dusty’s Bar in Minneapolis, Thursday, Sept. 10. Kysar is also part of a panel discussion along with editor Ann Regan and fiction writer Will Weaver about working with a publisher at the Minnesota Historical Society Press’s Writing Your Family Legacy conference Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Minnesota History Center. Finally Kysar has a poem featured in the summer issue of Mizna.
