Business Transfer Pathway Student Thrives with Foundation Support

July 09, 2025

Hailey Wolkerstorfer ’25 began her education at Anoka-Ramsey Community College full-time as a junior in high school through the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program. She completed her Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences degree while still in high school and continued on to earn her Business Transfer Pathway AS degree and an Entrepreneurship certificate—all while working part-time. Hailey’s future goals include using her degree to pursue her passions and turn them into a full-time career.

“One thing I’ve had a great experience with at Anoka-Ramsey is the Foundation. The scholarship program has been phenomenal. The people who do it are great, and there are members of the Cambridge community who also serve on the board—it’s been great to work with them. The financial support they’ve offered has been phenomenal. It’s so helpful. You don’t count on scholarships, but when you get them it’s great and a weight lifted off your shoulders,” Hailey says.

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge and Coon Rapids Campus Foundations offers scholarship opportunities to students from all walks of life. The Foundation aims to connect students with opportunities and provide them with real-world experiences.

Events like Rhythm of the Rapids help make these stories possible by raising funds to support students through scholarships and other resources. Mark your calendars! On Sept 18, from 5 to 8:30 pm, the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Foundation is excited to welcome you—and the entire community—to the Rhythm of the Rapids concert fundraiser. Bring the whole family to enjoy live music by Martin Zellar and the Hardways, food trucks, and more, as we gather to raise funds to inspire learning and support student success.
