Anoka-Ramsey recognizes student achievements through Outstanding Student Awards
May 13, 2021
Anoka-Ramsey Community College is proud to celebrate the academic and extra-curricular successes of its students during the 2020-2021 academic year.
Nominated by college faculty, students are recognized across academic disciplines, student activities and an overall outstanding student of the year award for each of the college’s campuses.
Please join us in recognizing and congratulating the following honorees for their outstanding achievements:

COON RAPIDS HONOREES
Chi Vue, Outstanding Student of the Year
“In the Spring of 2020, the culture of Anoka-Ramsey Community College was altered when a transfer student from the University of Minnesota arrived for his first classes. Chi Vue, a Business Office Technology major, is that student and he changed the culture through his commitment to be the best student he could be. Over a year later, Mr. Vue has not altered from that goal for even a day – pandemic and racial injustice included. The impact that he has had on me alone has made going through this last year a little easier. Vue models what it means to be a successful student; combined with his humble attitude, is a recipe for a great leader,” Michelle Laumb-Michels, nominator and Business instructor
