Anoka-Ramsey hosts Health Care Career Fair April 20

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Career Center and current Nursing Leadership class invite the public to:
Health Care Career Fair
Wednesday, April 20
11 am to 3 pm
Anoka-Ramsey Community College
Coon Rapids Campus Legacy Rm11200 Mississippi Blvd NW, Coon Rapids
The event offers door prizes, a raffle for a free NCLEX review session, an opportunity for a résumé critique and opportunities to interview with employers.
Major regional health care employers scheduled to attend the fair include: Accurate Homecare, ACR Homes, Inc, Allina Health, Augustana Care, Bayada Pediatrics, CentraCare Health, Fraser: Autism Services, HealthPartners Riverway Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Mille Lacs Health System, Minnesota Department of Human Services, North Memorial Medical Center, Nursefinders, Nystrom & Associates, Ltd, Home Healthcare, Inc, Recover Health. Regency Hospital and more.
Employers plan to share information on the various careers at their organization and to recruit for positions such as: behavioral aide, community health worker, dietary/nutrition assistant, direct support professional, EMT, home health aide, human resources/staffing coordinator, medical assistant, medical billing/insurance, medical coding, medical lab technician, MRI technologist, nursing (RN, LPN, CNA), occupational therapy assistant, patient care associate, pharmacy technician, phlebotomist, physical therapy assistant, program counselor/assistant, social worker, surgical technologist and more.
Along with Anoka-Ramsey, the following colleges will be on hand to discuss their health care-related degree options: Augsburg College, Bemidji State University, Metropolitan State University, St. Cloud State University, College of St. Scholastica and Winona State University.
