COVID-19: Resources for Coping and Basic Needs

We understand during this rapidly-evolving situation that managing closures, postponements and rules regarding our public health can be stressful. To assist you in navigating these challenges, we have assembled information about some of the resources available.

Remember, Anoka-Ramsey Community College Counselors are available to meet remotely with students who are struggling with mental health or basic needs. To make an appointment to meet by phone or online follow this link: http://www.anokaramsey.edu/resources/counseling- services/personal-counseling/

Crisis Grants Available

This program supports students experiencing an unforeseen financial crisis that endangers the continuation of their education.

Crisis Grants are used exclusively for non-academic expenses such as unmet basic needs.

Students many be awarded a one-time gift in a 12-month period. If a student is awarded a crisis grant, it does not include expenses such as tuition. In special circumstances, students may be awarded an extreme crisis grant of up to $1,000.00.

I am a enrolled student and am experiencing an unforeseen financial crisis… how do I get the help I need?
