Take 5, a new wellness workshop series from Anoka-Ramsey’s Counseling Department launches Sept. 25
September 09, 2019
This September, Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Counseling Department is kicking off a monthly workshop series titled Take 5. The series aims to create an opportunity for students at both the Cambridge and Coon Rapids Campus to enhance personal growth and self-awareness through practical application tools.
The inaugural Take 5 event carries the theme of The Mind-Body Connect: Self-Care from the Inside Out, and will be held Sept. 25 featuring Kathy Flaminio, president and founder of 1000 Petals.
During the workshop, Flaminio will discuss practices around the mind-body connection and self-care that will help avoid stress, exhaustion and ultimate burnout.
