“Knowing What’s Under the Hood” Presentation by Steve Graner, M.A.

Counseling Services is excited to host Steve Graner, a nationally renowned speaker and local expert on mental health. Steve comes to us from Neurosequential Network as a Neurosequential Model Education (NME) Consultant. Steve will share his expertise to help us gain an understanding of our brain and how it responds to the stressors in our lives through the lens of what we’ve experienced! He will address how stress, trauma, and our internal narratives impact our daily lives as well as our relationships. He will also present steps that we might be able to incorporate in our daily lives that can help reduce stressors. Steve emphasizes the importance of social connectedness and community in mental health.

In-person on both campuses: Coon Rapids Campus, Legacy Room (SC270) -Tuesday, Feb. 27, and the Cambridge Campus, Theatre (G202) - Wednesday, Feb. 28

Time: 10am – 11am both days
