The Anoka-Ramsey Community College English Department’s Minnesota Writers Series presents The Power of Writing in Incarnation, a conversation with writers and activist who have experienced the transformative power of creative writing in incarnation and beyond, Saturday, April 22 at 7 pm The event will be held virtually via Zoom.

The event panel includes Zeke Caligiuri, a Minnesota Book Award finalist, and Jennifer Bowen, founder and artistic director of Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop, a non-profit arts organization that teaches creative writing in Minnesota's state prisons. Come celebrate the written word and hear how it gave these writers a voice in incarceration and the power to transcend it.
