2013 Golden Rams Women's Fastpitch Softball

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Golden Rams Fastpitch Softball program was established in 2010, after a 17 year hiatus. Softball is an intercollegiate sport and the team is a member of the NJCAA at the Division III level and competes in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC).
Tryouts: As needed.
Training: 14 practices in September/October along with year round strength training
Practices: Five days a week; two to three hours a day
Season: January to May
Facilities: New softball facility at the Cambridge Campus field with sod outfield, fencing, irrigation system, batting cage, enclosed dugouts and storage completed in 2012; 2,400 square foot fitness center and 9,000 square foot gymnasium for strength and fitness development
Awards: 2011 State Runner-Up; 2011 Region XIIIA Runner-Up; 2012 Region XIIIA 3rd Place; three All-American Players; four All- State Players
Message from Coach: The Women’s Fastpitch team is not only great for the college; it is also a home run for the community. The game is very popular in the Cambridge/Isanti area; high school players have an opportunity to continue to play after graduation and the community has exciting games to attend.
