Policy 3A.1 Library

The libraries at the two campuses of Anoka-Ramsey Community College provide services and resources including Information Literacy instruction, research assistance, database access, course reserves and interlibrary loan to ARCC students, faculty and staff. Since the libraries are an integral part of the education process, the collection in each library is coordinated with the college curriculum to ensure students have resources relevant to their course of study.

The libraries acquire materials in a variety of formats to support the curriculum, adhering to the American Library Association’s Intellectual Freedom Principles for Academic Libraries. In addition, the libraries are committed to supporting the changing needs of the communities we serve, adhering to the American Library Association’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion statement and the Anoka-Ramsey Community College BRIDGES plan.
