Tobacco
The buildings of Anoka Technical College and Anoka-Ramsey Community College are tobacco-free. Specific tobacco product use areas are designated and tobacco product use, including vapor smoking products and chewing tobacco, is allowed only at these locations. Tobacco use is defined to include burning or the act of smoking any cigarette, pipe, cigar, cigarillo, or other smoking equipment (whether filled with tobacco or any other type of materials) and all vapor smoking products. All designated tobacco product use areas will be a minimum of 25 feet from any entrance or building at Anoka Tech and 50 feet from any entrance or building at Anoka-Ramsey, as posted. People using these locations are expected to keep the area litter free. For building/courses that are held away from the main campus, the facilities policy will apply to that site.
