Student Senates Recognized for Civic Engagement
Anoka-Ramsey’s Cambridge and Coon Rapids Student Senates received a Star Campus designation from two-year college student association, LeadMN. The groups received the award for the 2025-26 academic year. The Coon Rapids Senate also received the award for the 2024-25.
The designation rewards meaningful campus engagement, civic involvement and collaboration across student governments. The Star Campus program rewards the most active campuses of LeadMN. The idea was that student senates who are fulfilling their commitment to students on their campuses and LeadMN would become a “Star Campus,” serving as an example for campus governments striving to better serve their constituencies.
