October 20, 2016

Anoka-Ramsey Community College spring semester open registration begins Friday Nov. 4.

“Building the perfect schedule can be a complex balance. Student need to make the class, the days/times, and the instructor all align,” said Academic Advisor Cat Hillyard. “If students want to have their pick of classes, it’s important to register early to have the best selection.”

Before registering for classes, students must apply and attend an orientation session. During orientation students will learn about college policies, resources, procedures, receive a student photo ID card, meet fellow students and have individual time with an advisor to help with registering for a specific degree or program.

Anoka-Ramsey’s student-focus, teaching excellence, research opportunities and low-cost tuition recently launched the college into a Top 10 finalist recognition for the 2017 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s prestigious recognition of high achievement and performance in America’s community colleges. The winner will be announced in March 2017.
