Anoka-Ramsey Dental Lab Opens with Floss Cutting

Anoka-Ramsey Community College celebrated the grand opening of its new Cambridge Campus dental lab with a floss-cutting event Thursday, Oct. 1. The event gathered campus leaders, staff and community partners to celebrate the power of partnership and commitment to student success.  

“We are celebrating the dedication, collaboration and countless hours of work invested by so many individuals across our college,” said Dean of Allied Health and Nursing Dr. Sandra Kohler. “Today marks an exciting milestone for our college, our community and the students who will begin their journey toward a rewarding career in dental healthcare.”

About Anoka-Ramsey’s Dental Assisting Program

Anoka-Ramsey’s Dental Assisting program offers stackable credentials in the form of a 23-credit certificate, 47-credit diploma and 60-credit associate of applied science degree.

The program was developed in response to growing demand for qualified dental assistants and will help prepare students for careers in Minnesota's health care workforce.

The Dental Assisting program at Anoka-Ramsey is accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Graduates of the diploma and AAS degree in dental assisting from Anoka-Ramsey are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board Certification Exam to become certified and licensed dental assistants.
