College welcomes ITT and Art Institute students
September 19, 2016
Anoka-Ramsey Community College wants to welcome the 40,000 ITT Technical Institute students and the 5,400 Art Institute International (Ai) students recently informed that their institutions are closing immediately.
The affected students may find reassurance in the fact that Anoka-Ramsey is fully accredited and offers more than 55 degree and certificate programs and hundreds of courses that transfer to four-year institutions. Anoka-Ramsey also offers expert faculty and the lowest cost tuition in Minnesota.
“We are very pleased to offer students struggling with the closure of these colleges the option to enroll in one of our in-demand and fully accredited programs that transfer to other fully accredited and well-respected institutions,” said Ricardo Gonzalez, Director of Admissions.
Anoka-Ramsey’s student-focus, teaching excellence and research opportunities, and low-cost tuition recently launched the college into a top 10 finalist spot for the 2017 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s preeminent recognition of high achievement and performance in America’s community colleges.
Students who are attending Globe University or Minnesota School of Business are also encouraged to consider transferring to Anoka-Ramsey since both of those institutions are also in discussions for closure.
