October 29, 2018
Anoka-Ramsey Community College Nursing students in the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE) program are hosting a community health fair, Thursday, Nov. 8, 10 am to 1 pm. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
The fair will include informational booths designed to educate and promote health and wellness, CPR demonstrations, community resources, health services, games and door prizes.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the Campus Cupboard, an initiative supported by the Coon Rapids Campus Foundation to help bring food and hygiene items to students in need.
Anoka-Ramsey’s Nursing program (MANE)
The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Nursing program is a member of the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE) consortium. MANE is an innovative nursing education consortium between a state university and seven community colleges.
Two unique Nursing curricular tracks are offered with the option of an Associate in Science Degree (AS) in Nursing: a traditional Registered Nurse (RN) track and a LPN to RN track. As part of MANE, students in either track are automatically admitted to the baccalaureate program to facilitate completion of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing.
