Anoka-Ramsey Community College offers free Careers in Writing discussion with Claire Comstock-Gay, Nov. 28

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Career Services and The Creative Writing Club are hosting Careers in Writing, Nov. 28, 1 pm, in the Coon Rapids Campus Riverview Room. The event is free and open to the public.

The speaker is Claire Comstock-Gay, a fiction and nonfiction writer living in St. Paul. She writes for New York Magazine’s The Cut and is working on her first book, which will be published by Harper in 2020.

Comstock-Gay will discuss the rewards and challenges of making a living and surviving as a writer. She will also discuss her work as an astrologer for New York Magazine and her fiction work for which she was a Loft Mentor Fellow in 2017-2018.
