Crisis Grant Recipient Story
Sitting in my Psychology class, I can't even absorb anything that's happening.
I'm about to cry because I'm not thinking about school. I'm like, how am I going to
pay (for) my car, or how am I going to feed by dogs, how am I going to pay my mortgage.
I did use the crisis grant and that bought me time to figure out other resources.
I finished school, still with a 4.0.

The 2025 event opener for Martin Zellar was Red 40, a group of Anoka-Ramsey alumni
who met while in school. This year the event was moved indoors due to weather.
The crowd at the 2024 Rhythm of the Rapids event enjoyed the evening sunset while
listening to live music on the bank of the Mississippi River.
The event included a variety of food trucks.
