Sitting in my Psychology class, I can't even absorb anything that's happening. I'm about to cry because I'm not thinking about school. I'm like, how am I going to pay (for) my car, or how am I going to feed by dogs, how am I going to pay my mortgage. I did use the crisis grant and that bought me time to figure out other resources. I finished school, still with a 4.0.

Rhythm of the Rapids concert fundraiser along the banks of the Mississippi River featuring G.B. Leighton on Sept. 17, 2026 from 5 to 8:30 pm. Bring the whole family to enjoy music, food trucks and more while we raise funds to inspire student success at Anoka-Ramsey. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend. The 2025 event opener for Martin Zellar was Red 40, a group of Anoka-Ramsey alumni who met while in school. This year the event was moved indoors due to weather.
