Short Term and Summer Registration Information


Want to pick up a class or two at the lowest-cost institution in Minnesota? Anoka-Ramsey makes the registration process quick, easy and all online for you! If you are interested in a more in-depth process, please visit our Undergraduate or Transfer application pages.

Students who have previously enrolled with Anoka-Ramsey Community College:

1) You do not have to re-apply! Please log in  to eServices using your StarID and PIN.  If you don't know your StarID and PIN, you can look up or reset that information here.  

2) Search for courses online and register on or after the open registration day.  To see registration dates, please visit our Registration Dates page.

3) If the class you would like to register for has a pre-requisite course listed, and you took the course with Anoka-Ramsey and earned a C or higher, it should allow you to register right away.  If the class you would like to register for has a pre-requisite that you took at another institution, where you earned a C or higher, and Anoka-Ramsey has not yet evaluated your credits from that institution, then simply follow the steps here:

  • Fill out the Pre-requisite Registration Form.(listed under the Records and Registration section)

  • E-mail or Fax the Pre-requisite Registration form, along with a copy of your unofficial transcript from the institution where you completed the pre-requisite course. 

  • Our records office will follow up with you with any questions or they will notify you via e-mail when your pre-requisite course has been entered.  

  • Log back into your eServices account and register for the course section that you were approved to register for!

  • Make sure you arrange payment options for your semester by the Tuition Deadlines.  Check the Tuition deadlines on our Important Dates and Deadlines page.  If you register on or after the Tuition Deadline, you will need to set up payment options immediately after registering for a class!


Students who have previously enrolled with another MnSCU (Minnesota State College or University) Institution:

1) Apply to Anoka-Ramsey (Application is free and easy; just use your StarID and Password to log in, then it will auto-fill most of your information!)  If you don't know your StarID and PIN, you can look up or reset that information by going to StarID.mnscu.edu.

2) Search for courses online and register on or after the open registration day.  To see registration dates, please visit our Registration Dates page.  

3) If the class you would like to register for has a pre-requisite that you took at another institution, where you earned a C or higher, and Anoka-Ramsey has not yet evaluated your credits from that institution (Transcripts are not required to attend ARCC), then simply follow the steps here:

Students who are new to Anoka-Ramsey Community College and MnSCU (EX: private school students or students at the University of Minnesota schools):

1) If you are new to MnSCU you will need to Apply to Anoka-Ramsey. (It's Free!)

2) Once you have applied and been accepted(typically automatic), log into our eServices here and search for courses online and register on or after the open registration day.  To see registration dates, please visit our Registration Dates page.

3) If the class you would like to register for has a pre-requisite that you took at another institution, where you earned a C or higher, and Anoka-Ramsey has not yet evaluated your credits from that institution (Transcripts are not required to attend ARCC), then simply follow the steps here:
