How to Apply

Let your counselor know that you are interested in the TRiO Upward Bound program. Pick up an Upward Bound application at your school counseling office or career center or download the form here.  An Upward Bound application consists of a Student Application, two Teacher Recommendation Form, and one Counselor Recommendation Form.  Complete the application and contact your teacher and counselor so that they can complete your teacher and counselor recommendation forms.

Each candidate must submit:

• UB APPLICATION 
• Two UB TEACHER RECOMMENDATION FORM
• One UB COUNSELOR RECOMMENDATION FORM
• A current high school transcript and standardized test scores (ask your counselor)
• Family financial verification (a copy of the most current Federal Income Tax Return)
