Delivery Methods

Open Learning Lab

Students work at their own pace while communicating with the instructor via office hours, phone, e-mail, optional class meetings, fax or U.S. mail.

Blended Online Course

Some required meetings or entire parts of these courses (for example, the lab portion of science courses) are on campus in a physical classroom; however, additional online course activities and assignments are required for successful completion of the course. The amount and variety of online requirements will vary by instructor. These activities may be synchronous (when teacher and learners are online at the same specified time) or asynchronous (when teacher and learners set their own online work schedule within specified dates).

Online Courses

For these courses teaching and learning is online and predominately asynchronous (when teacher and learners set their own online work schedule within specified dates). Some classes may or may not meet on campus for events such as orientations, special presentations, or proctored exams (students may be able to arrange for proctored exams at another location). Students who enroll in online courses are responsible for meeting the technical requirements necessary for this method of instruction.

ITV Courses

Courses are delivered or received via interactive television. This means students meet in a traditional classroom and collaborate in real time with a class at another location.
