The positive
results of contributions to the Anoka-Ramsey
Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation
were made apparent as students described
their plans to use awarded scholarships
to further their education at the college.
The Foundation contributors also had the
opportunity to meet the scholarship recipients
and increase donations during a luncheon
at the Cambridge Campus April 17.
“The Foundation was organized
in 1988 to make post-secondary education
affordable and accessible to area residents,”
says Patrick Johns, President of Anoka-Ramsey
Community College. “It serves as
a tool to realize the best in human potential
and enables people to enjoy helping others.”
The Foundation will host a golf outing
on May 31 at 3 p.m. at Deer Meadows Golf
Course to raise funds for future scholarships.
