Anoka-Ramsey Community College Upward Bound Students Lend Helping Hands

Students enrolled in the Upward Bound Summer Program

Students enrolled in the Upward Bound Summer Program at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Coon Rapids Campus take part in a theater class trust exercise. Seventy-five area students are attending the six-week program, which runs Monday-Friday from June 14 through July 23. Upward Bound is a federally funded program that helps disadvantaged students reach their goal of completing high school and enrolling in college. ARCC’s summer program offers students courses in math, chemistry, Hmong culture, social studies, communications and theater, and additional academic advisement. Upward Bound at ARCC serves students in grades nine through 12 at Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park, Coon Rapids, Osseo, Park Center and Spring Lake Park high schools.
