Anoka-Ramsey Community College Honors Top Students, Faculty and Staff

Members of the Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Cambridge Campus community gathered at the Campus Center to honor the achievements of students, faculty and staff at this year’s Cambridge Campus Concert and Awards Night on April 30.

The choir performed a 45-minute program prior to the awards ceremonies.

Recognition for superior effort in campus activities followed next. Twenty-six students earned kudos for their work in everything from Phi Theta Kappa to student government. Another 15 students earned recognition for achievements in specific academic disciplines.

The final student awards highlighted the Cambridge Campus' top achievers. Student of the Year awards went to Hannah Biesiada and Adam Grise. Biesiada also took home awards as a top member of the All-USA Academic Team and as a top biology student, and for her efforts as a student worker in the Academic Support Center and as a Phi Theta Kappa officer.

ARCC Cambridge Campus faculty and staff also received recognition during the awards ceremony. Three faculty members received Teachers of Excellence awards. Seven faculty members earned placement on the faculty honor roll. Twelve faculty and staff were honored for their support of Phi Theta Kappa. The Staff of the Year award went to Linda Coleman of Admissions and Records.
