Local Art Crawl Features Professional, Student Art

More than thirty area artists, including nine students from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, will display their fine art during The North Artists' Studio Crawl, Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 6, noon to 6 p.m.

Art (sample shown) from Anoka-Ramsey Community College students will be on display and for sale as part of The North Artists' Studio Crawl, April 5 to 6.

The self-guided art tour includes more than 12 studios located throughout the cities of Andover, Anoka, Bethel, East Bethel, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake and Ramsey.

The public is invited into the artists’ studios to view and purchase original artwork including award-winning: wheel-thrown pottery and hand-built ceramics; stoneware and porcelain objects; pastel nature drawings; blown glass; watercolor and acrylic wildlife and nature paintings; unique wearable art from beads, silver, turquoise, coral, and pearl; mosaics; contemporary and traditional oils and acrylics; functional and decorative pieces made with rough log; photography and stained glass art.

The tour is open to the public and all artwork is for sale. More information and maps can be found at the North Artists Studio Crawl Web site.
