| Anoka-Ramsey Community College is proud to announce five students at the Coon Rapids Campus received the Student Leadership Award for the fall 2007 term.

- Matthew Gilbertson, Lino Lakes
- Allen Mavis, Coon Rapids
- Crystal Holzer, New Brighton
To be considered for the award, students must be enrolled in at least six credits, earn a C or above grade in all course work, submit a cover letter and essay listing their college involvements and highlighting at least one of their leadership qualities, and finally submit a letter of recommendation from a college faculty member or club advisor.
The Student Leadership Awards range from $200 to $500, which is determined when grades are posted at the end of the term. Awards are granted based on the variety and length of their voluntary leadership as well as their involvement at the college to improve activities, procedures and other aspects of student life.
