“The sole purpose of Scholardazzle is to raise scholarship funds for students to attend the Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College,” says Roger Anderson, Foundation Board Member. “A scholarship for some students is the extra boost they need to allow them to attend college. They can reduce their part-time workload and create more time to study. A foundation scholarship also tells students that we believe in them and support their educational goals.”
The Cambridge Campus Foundation Board consists of community volunteers who actively seek and accept gifts and grants that provide financial assistance to students of the Cambridge Campus.
“As a member of the scholarship committee, I see the great need to help people accomplish their dream of attending college,” explains Maureen O’Neill, Foundation Board Member. “Many students on the Cambridge Campus just could not attend without our
help."
“When you choose to donate money to help a student attend college, you are actually helping your community prosper. Those students get better jobs, provide for their families, pay taxes and hopefully donate money for future scholarships. Everyone wins and we know we have done something important to better our community.”
Tickets for Scholardazzle are $55 for one ticket or $100 for two. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 763.433.1820 or stop by the Cambridge Campus or Coon Rapids Campus.
