Education supporters-all aboard for an evening of delicious food, soothing sounds and chances to bid on choice goods and services, complete with the special feeling that comes from helping area students succeed.

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation’s annual Scholardazzle scholarship fundraiser is setting course once again to raise funds for deserving local students. This year’s theme is Winter Serenade and festivities will depart Friday, Jan. 25, 5:30 to 9 p.m. For the first time in its history, the event is off-campus. The new location is Spectacular Events Banquet Center, 1001 Cty. Rd. 5 NE, Isanti, Minn.

From the Banquet Center, the Scholardazzle gala will overlook a sea of snow covering the golf course. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. Fortified by the warmth of the hardwood ballroom floors, the glow of the crystal chandeliers and the musical styling’s of Opus Ensemble, a highly acclaimed strolling musicians, the voyage will continue through a fantastic, gourmet dinner buffet and an expansive array of desserts.

Major excursions include on-going raffles and silent and live auctions offering the opportunity to bid on premium goods and services from local businesses.

At the end of the evening, attendees of the Scholardazzle fundraiser will have contributed to increasing educational opportunities in the area. They will also have done their part to surpass last year’s record-breaking $11,200 for Cambridge Campus student scholarships.
