Lake Wobegon® Brass Band Plays From, For Heart at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Dec. 9

The Lake Wobegon® Brass Band, co-sponsored by Anoka-Ramsey Community College and the Anoka Brass Band Association, will be performing the Ellis Bergstrom Benefit Concert Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Performing Arts Center.

The Lake Wobegon® Brass Band (shown) is expected to sell-out their special benefit performance, Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m., at the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Performing Arts Center. Proceeds will go to the Ellis Bergstrom Music Scholarship and Children's HeartLink. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students at the college book store 763.433.1250.

All proceeds from this concert will support the Ellis Bergstrom Music Scholarship at the college which offers a $1,000 annual scholarship to support aspiring student musicians and Children's HeartLink, a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing pediatric cardiac programs through training, technical assistance and resources.

“This promises to be a wonderful evening of music and entertainment for a very worthwhile cause,” says Richard Perkins, Anoka-Ramsey music instructor and one of the founders of the Lake Wobegon® Band.

Seating for this special event is limited so advanced ticket purchase is advised. Tickets may not be available at the door. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students at the college book store 763.433.1250.
