About “The Crucible”
“The Crucible,” a play by Arthur Miller, is widely-recognized as one of the most important dramatic works of the 20th century. The play, as a parable of contemporary society, presents the riveting drama of the Salem witch trials and a community that is quickly and deeply divided when a group of young girls begin accusing many of their elders of witchcraft. At the center of the conflict is a farmer, John Proctor who attempts to overcome the mass hysteria even as his family is being consumed by it.

Tickets for “The Crucible” are now on sale. Tickets are $8 each and available at the Anoka-Ramsey Community College bookstore, 763.433.1250. See information about theatre classes or the new associate in fine arts in Theatre degree.
