Along with information tables by numerous student groups and academic programs, such as the new bachelor degree in science in special education offered at the Cambridge campus by Moorhead State University, staff from UPS delivery service set-up displays to inform picnickers of job opportunities. Students also enjoyed free caricatures by Kristen Brackey from “The Nose" caricature company.

The college hosts two picnics every year, September and May, to foster fellowship among all those who make up the on-campus college community. “Student Life events, such as the picnic, provide students with the opportunity to become involved in Student Life clubs and organizations, socialize with peers, and just have fun,” says Cindi Gilbert, Director of Student Life.
