The International Officers of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) signified preparation for its International Convention by passing its torch to Erin Monetti, PTK Regional President and Anoka-Ramsey Community College student on Jan. 6. The torch was passed at Minneapolis Convention Center, the site for the International Convention scheduled for April 1-3.

Monetti received the torch from PTK International Vice President, Amber Davids. Also pictured are International Vice Presidents Michael Storey, Dawneen Rae Banks, Amanda Clark, Sandra Mahl and Shawn Mickschl of Normandale Community College and Anthony Imberli of Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of Two-Year Colleges. Its mission is to encourage scholarship, develop leadership, inspire service and develop a fellowship among members. Over 3,000 members from around the world will attend the convention in April where they will celebrate their accomplishments from the past year and learn strategies for continuing to fulfill their mission in the upcoming year.
