College student receives torch as regional
president
The International Officers of Phi Theta
Kappa (PTK) signified preparation for
its International Convention by passing
its torch to Erin Monetti, PTK Regional
President and Anoka-Ramsey Community
College student on Jan. 6. The torch
was passed at Minneapolis Convention
Center, the site for the International
Convention scheduled for April 1-3.
Monetti received the torch from PTK
International Vice President, Amber Davids.

College and Anthony Imberli of Anoka-Ramsey
Community College.
Phi Theta Kappa is the International
Honor Society of Two-Year Colleges. Its
mission is to encourage scholarship,
develop leadership, inspire service and
develop a fellowship among members. Over
3,000 members from around the world will
attend the convention in April where
they will celebrate their accomplishments
from the past year and learn strategies
for continuing to fulfill their mission
in the upcoming year.
