The Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College welcomes students into it's new 34,000 square foot addition this fall. The public is invited to attend the dedication celebration scheduled for Aug. 23 at noon.

“We celebrate more than just the completion of this facility,” says Dr. Patrick M. Johns, President of Anoka-Ramsey Community College. “This is actually a chance to highlight the effective partnership between the college and the community of East Central Minnesota that have come together to offer students the very best in higher education.”

Johns credits local community leaders, legislators and representatives from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system with bringing this capital project to fruition.

The new space includes computer labs, nursing labs, general classrooms, renovated science labs, and an improved technology infrastructure. The addition also features a large multi-purpose room available for community events.

“There is a sense of enthusiasm and vitality at the college as it grows along side the community,” explains Johns. “We continue to work to keep tuition the lowest in the state of Minnesota while providing new academic programs, including a four-year degree in special education, and a two-year degree option in North Branch.”

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus is located at Hwy. 95 and Spirit River Drive (formerly Polk Street) intersection. For complete directions or more information about the college, visit www.AnokaRamsey.edu.
