The 16th annual Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Foundation Chip In For Education Golf Tourney, July 31, at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, Minn. raised approximately $18,465 for ARCC student scholarships. Included in the gross total, a record-breaking $1,680 was sold in mulligan and raffle hole vouchers.

As a result of fundraising events, such as this one sponsored by the ARCC Coon Rapids Campus Foundation and the law firm of Barna, Guzy and Steffen (BGS), more than $120,000 in scholarships is awarded to more than 120 ARCC students annually.

In return for their support of ARCC students, the 110 tournament participants enjoyed an afternoon of golf, a barbecue dinner and chances to win valuable prizes. No participants achieved a hole-in-one at this year’s event, but a one-year new car lease for the first hole-in-one was offered by Coon Rapids Plymouth Chrysler Jeep and a $10,000 for the second hole-in-one was offered by the Ameriprise Financial.
