The tournament is sponsored by the ARCC Coon Rapids Campus Foundation and the law firm of Barna, Guzy and Steffen (BGS). The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the foundation’s scholarship program at ARCC. More than $120,000 in scholarships are awarded annually to more than 120 ARCC students.
Players can register individually for $115 or as a foursome for $460. The registration fee includes the course fee, cart and barbeque dinner. Additional dinner guests can be registered for $20 per person. Businesses seeking to both promote their services or products and support education can sponsor a promotional tee sign for $200 per sign.
Along with the great feeling of helping students succeed, participants receive an afternoon of golf, a barbecue dinner and chances to win valuable prizes, such as a one-year new car lease for the first hole-in-one offered by Coon Rapids Plymouth Chrysler Jeep or $10,000 for the second hole-in-one offered by the Ameriprise Financial. Prizes will be awarded at the barbeque dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.
