Starting this fall, ARCC students and graduates will be able to complete their associate’s degree at ARCC and then apply directly to MSUM, which will accept their degree as completion of under-division requirements. Once accepted, students will continue to take classes on the ARCC campus, but the classes will be offered by MSUM and apply toward their bachelor’s degree. Successful completion of this degree allows graduates to obtain a Minnesota teaching license in Special Education: Emotional/Behavior Disorders.

ARCC students and graduates will not need to travel a long distance to get a bachelor’s degree. Working professionals, who want to complete their bachelor’s degree or obtain a teaching license in Special Education, can take evening or weekend classes, too. Courses will be delivered through a combination of on-campus, online, ITV and hybrid formats
