| The public is invited to meet with local author R.W. Dutch Schoenecker to discuss his new novel, “Opposite of Darkness,” published this year by Outskirts Press of Denver, Colo. Schoenecker, a retired English instructor from Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Cambridge Campus, has set this fiction-fantasy novel in an unspecified future. The protagonist, Gideon Amsel has a near-death experience and is asked to interview twelve historical figures in the "netherworld" and to bring their messages back to earth. Critics are saying the novel offers intriguing answers to unspoken questions. |
