College Art Sale Draws Hundreds

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Art Club Student Art Sale, May 2-3 at the Coon Rapids Campus drew hundreds of art-loving community members who purchased hand-blown glass pieces, ceramic pieces with beautiful textures and glazes, paintings and pencil and charcoal drawings and supported future community artists.

College staff, including Karen Kraft (left) and Jan Pomeroy (right), were among the hundreds of community members who purchased unique pieces of art at Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Spring student art sale.

The work was all produced by ARCC students, most in their second year of ARCC Associates in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) program.

“This year’s Spring Student Art Sale was a great event,” comments ARCC Art Faculty Member, Mark Lambert. “The support from faculty members, staff, administration, fellow students and the community was wonderful.”
