The All for Art exhibit is a juried show. The artwork selected will have the chance to win the first place prize of $75, the second place prize of $50 or the third place prize of $25. The judge and juror is Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts Executive Director, Lia Rivamonte.
Students in the exhibit are pursuing an A.F.A. degree, which was initiated two years ago at ARCC. The A.F.A. program was developed to prepare burgeoning artists for professional success. In addition to a challenging curriculum of art courses, the ARCC Art Department also promotes the idea of exhibitions as being an important ingredient for creating a professional artist. Currently, there are over 80 declared A.F.A. students at ARCC and most decide to further their art educations in colleges throughout the country.
