In a continuing effort to prepare business
students for successful careers and engage
alumni, the Anoka-Ramsey Community College
(ARCC) Alumni Office and the Business Division
have partnered to create a free alumni-student
business networking luncheon series.
All attendees will receive a box lunch
and the opportunity to hear a prominent
speaker, such as Connexus Energy President
and CEO, Rick Newland, who is scheduled
to speak at the Feb. 12 event. Networking
time will allow alumni to meet up-and-coming
business students and other local alumni
involved in business and reconnect with
the college. Students will be able to interact
with working professionals, learn about
networking styles and gain an understanding
about what behavior is expected in an informal
business situation.
